Beef and Broccoli for the family
Nov. 26th, 2013 09:09 amDue to everyone's busy schedule, family dinners don't happen too often. But when I get a chance to get everyone together, I try and make it a special occasion. Last week's dinner theme was Asian Cuisine. I prepared a beef and broccoli Chinese cuisine combined with an spring rolls as an Asian appetizer and fortune cookies as dessert.
Ingredients
1. Combine marinade and ingredients, and let marinate for 15 min
2. Boil the water and add sesame oil. Blanch broccoli for 10 seconds. Set broccoli aside
3. heat 1 tbsp oil in skillet over high heat. Add beef until 80% cooked
4. Heat remaining oil in skillet over high heat. Add ginger and stir fry. Transfer beef into skillet and cook until beef is fully cooked.
5. Add broccoli and sauce.

If pressed for time, frozen appetizers are a great alternative.
